Looking for a chimney sweep near me?
Sterling is based in Woodbury, so the east metro is our home ground.
Your town is below. Town missing? Call and tell us where the house is.
Six parts of the metro
Each group follows a road or a river, so neighbors end up in the same list.
Woodbury and the I-94 corridor
- Woodbury: where our crew is based, with single-family homes, twin homes and townhomes.
- Oakdale: wood and gas fireplace repair along the Hadley Avenue spine.
- Lake Elmo: farm country and acreage at the edge of the metro.
- Maplewood: suburban streets that grew up from old farmsteads.
- North St. Paul: brick storefronts downtown and older homes around them.
River towns to the south
- Newport: on the Mississippi, just southeast of St. Paul.
- St. Paul Park: a separate city from St. Paul, on the river's east bank.
- Cottage Grove: on the north bank of the Mississippi, home to Ravine Regional Park.
- South St. Paul: Grandview Park and the streets above the Mississippi.
- Inver Grove Heights: from the old railway depot area to newer neighborhoods.
- Hastings: historic districts and old brick along the river.
St. Paul and the west bank
White Bear Lake and the northeast
- White Bear Lake: an older core and later subdivisions.
- White Bear Township: a township of its own, separate from the city.
- Mahtomedi: homes along the shore of White Bear Lake.
- Dellwood: reached by Highway 96, with old summer-home roots.
- Grant: a city of its own, crossed by the Gateway State Trail.
- Vadnais Heights: around Vadnais Lake, on I-35E and I-694.
- Little Canada: the old Gervais Mill area and the lake beside it.
North of St. Paul
- Roseville: streets along Snelling Avenue and the 45th parallel.
- Falcon Heights: the University Grove homes and the streets near the fairgrounds.
- Lauderdale: a small city beside Roseville and Falcon Heights.
- Shoreview: lake-dotted neighborhoods off I-35W.
- Arden Hills: the northern edge of our area, near Bethel University.
The St. Croix valley
- Stillwater: old masonry flues and new gas fireplaces.
- Oak Park Heights: right next to Stillwater, on the St. Croix.
- Bayport: a river town just south of Stillwater.
What about the smaller places?
We also work in the small places between the bigger towns. Sunfish Lake and Mendota sit beside Mendota Heights, and Lilydale goes with West St. Paul. Willernie, Birchwood Village and Pine Springs sit next to Mahtomedi, and Gem Lake is a short hop from Vadnais Heights. Call, give us the address and we will book it.
Questions about our area
Short answers first.
Do you cover my town?
We cover the Minnesota towns listed above, and the small places around them. If yours is not named, call us with the address and we will tell you straight away.
Is my address in the city or the township?
Some addresses carry a city name in the mail but sit in a township, as with White Bear Township and White Bear Lake. Give us the street address when you call and we will sort it out. Either way, we come.
Do you work in Wisconsin?
We serve Minnesota towns only. Our area runs from the St. Croix valley west across the east metro to the Mississippi river towns, with Woodbury at the center.
How do I book?
